Hey everyone, sorry for the lag in blogs! I have been uber
busy but no excuses now, I finally sat down and got it done.
This week was an easy one; CANADA DAY is just around the corner. When I say corner I mean Sunday, with loads of festivities, food and things to check out.
We all love a free food right?? If you do, why not check out Oliver’s pancake breakfast from 8:30-10:30 am at our local community center. Who doesn’t enjoy a delicious pancake smothered in butter and syrup? Makes my mouth water just talking about it...
But if you’re not into pancakes or an early riser you can always head down to Osoyoos for their 64th Annual Cherry Fiesta. Begin your day with there annual parade starting at 11 am right on main street. You are going to see the fireman, local associations, horses, local dancers, clubs, and lots of candy for the kids. Once the parade is all said and done why not mozy on down to the band shell where there are lots of local artists and crafts to purchase and look at. Not to mention the abundance of other activities like the pie eating contest, the cherry pit spit, beer garden and all the food vendors to sample.
On top of all of this there are live bands throughout the day and evening, great beaches to enjoy, water to splash around in and loads of great local shops to peruse. If you can’t find anything to do on Canada Day, you just aren’t looking lol....
Come on out and join in all the fun, you don’t want to miss out J

Until next week

Happy Canada Day!
