We have made it to week 4 and we have another great activity for you to try out. This week we are featuring the Oliver Hike and Bike Path. It’s that time of year for everyone to dust off there rollerblades, running shoes and bike. This is a great way to get out and active with the family or a group of friends. The kids will love it and the dogs too...
Our fantastic Hike and Bike path is right along the riverside. You can see beavers, ducks and all the natural plants that grow in the area. Not to mention you will get to enjoy the sounds of the rushing river, and check out some of the floaters that are passing by.
For those of you that don’t know much about Oliver, you can also take some floatation devices down the river. Cool off from the summer heat but make sure you are safe. Bring life jackets, make sure people know where you are and don’t go alone. Lastly watch out for poison ivy, that plant is terrible and the after math is no fun to deal with!
More so Oliver also has a Hike For Hospice once a year on the first Sunday in the month of May. It’s a great way to start off the walking season.
The weather is just right, according to the weather forecast we are supposed to enjoy sun all weekend! So come on out and take advantage of the spring that has sprung and have some fun J
I will see you all out there! My runners are already on....
Until Next time
